Why we built it

A service fills a chapel with neighbors, coworkers, old friends and family from out of town. They sign a paper guest book, send flowers through a site the home never sees, and organize meals in a group text. When it is over, the family has a stack of cards and the home has a single name on file.

Kindwillow gives that week one place, with the home's name on it. The family gets help without asking for it. Guests know where to be, what is needed, and how to show up. The home keeps the relationships that come from caring for that family well, with each person's permission.

What we believe

• Families come first. Nothing goes out without their approval, and every message is one tap to stop.
• Permission is earned, not assumed. Guests choose what they hear about, and private details stay private.
• The funeral home stays the expert. Kindwillow drafts and organizes, and a licensed person at the home decides.
• Owning your relationships matters. The contacts your services bring in belong to your home and can be exported anytime.
• Families already ask AI for help. A home should be findable there, on its own terms, beside the website and the phone.

Who it is for

Independent and family-owned funeral homes and cremation services that want to give families more without adding work for their staff. Kindwillow works one home per territory, so the homes we work with are not competing with each other inside the same app.

How it is built

Kindwillow is a web app that opens on any phone, with your home's name, colors and domain. Each home also gets a managed MCP server so AI assistants can find it and start planning with it. We build to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, in light and dark mode, and review every new page against that standard. Read our accessibility statement and privacy policy.
