How it works

You type a name. The rest takes care of itself.

Kindwillow turns each service into a page your home owns: one place for the family, every guest, and the year that follows. Here is what happens, from the first phone call to the anniversary.

No account needed to look around.

Four steps

What happens after you type the name

  1. Step one

Type the name and the service.

Enter the person, the date, the time and the place. That is the whole task for your staff. Kindwillow builds a page in your home's colors and name in seconds, with an obituary draft, a schedule, parking, and a board of ways to help.

  2. Step two

The family says yes before anything goes out.

The family opens the page on their phone, reviews the obituary, chooses who helps coordinate, and decides how much they want to approve. Nothing is published without them, and you can see where every service stands from one board.

  3. Step three

Guests get a link, not an app.

A QR code at the service and a link in the obituary or a text. Guests RSVP in two taps, leave a memory, send flowers, give to a fund, or claim a dinner. Each one who leaves a number becomes a contact your home keeps, with their permission.

  4. Step four

    The year after keeps working.

A check-in with the family after the casseroles stop, a review invitation for guests who asked to hear from you, a remembrance a year on for those who said yes, and pre-planning waiting inside the app for anyone who chooses it.

Three sides, one page

What each person sees

Your staff

A board of every service, what needs you today, the guests each service brought in, and an inbox for questions. Obituary drafts, announcements and aftercare wait for your approval.

The family

One small step at a time on their phone: approve the obituary, pick a coordinator, keep or remove ways to help, and decide who gets the house address. Nothing goes live without them.

Guests

A link that opens on any phone with no download. RSVP, parking, the schedule, a memory wall, flowers, a memorial fund, and a meal train, all with your home's name on it.

Found in AI, too

Families can plan with you inside the assistants they already use.

Each home gets its own managed MCP server, the standard way AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT connect to outside services. When a family asks an assistant for help near you, it can find your home, show your prices and open dates, and start a plan that lands with your staff. A licensed person at your home always finalizes the arrangements. Your staff can also connect the director side to their own assistant to draft obituaries, check the board, or reply to a family.

Built for a hard week

Careful with families by default

  • Guests only get the texts that come with an RSVP until they tick a box asking for more. Every message is one tap to stop.
  • A family's home address goes only to helpers the family says yes to, never to anyone who taps a button.
  • Obituaries, announcements and aftercare are drafts until a person approves them.
  • Kindwillow rides on top of your current website, so nothing about how families find you today changes.

See it with your own home's name on it.

Open the director side with no account and no call. Type a name, watch the page build, and click anything.
