Kindwillow ("we," "us") provides a marketing website and an early-access waitlist for independent funeral homes. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

Information we collect

• What you give us. When you request early access, we collect the email address you enter and which part of the site you submitted from.
• Automatic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic request logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to operate and secure the site.

How we use it

• To contact you about early access, a demo, and product updates you asked for.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.
• To measure how the site is used, with privacy-respecting analytics, so we can improve it.

How it is shared

We do not sell your information. We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they process data only on our behalf:

• Vercel, website hosting and cookieless traffic analytics.
• Neon, database that stores your signup.
• Postmark, email delivery for our notifications.
• Google Analytics (Google), aggregate site-usage measurement.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft), anonymized usage insights, including click, scroll, and session-interaction data, to help us improve the site.
• Ahrefs (Ahrefs), cookieless traffic analytics.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

We use a few analytics tools to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may set cookies, and Clarity records anonymized interactions such as clicks and scrolls. We do not use advertising or cross-site retargeting cookies. You can opt out using your browser's privacy settings or an analytics or ad blocker.

Your choices

You can ask us to stop contacting you, or to delete your information, at any time by emailing hello@kindwillow.com. We will honor the request promptly.

Data retention

We keep your signup while you are on the waitlist or a customer, and delete it on request or when it is no longer needed.

Children

This site is intended for funeral-home professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date above.
