What should an obituary include?
Most obituaries include the person's full name, age, and town, the dates of birth and death, a short account of their life such as career, family, faith, and interests, the people who preceded them in death and those who survive them, and the details of any service, visitation, or memorial gathering. Many close with where to send flowers or memorial donations. This template pack lays out fields for all of these and leaves out anything you do not fill in.
What is the difference between an obituary and a death notice?
A death notice is a short, factual announcement, usually the name, age, town, date of death, and service information. An obituary is longer and tells the story of the person's life.
